No, it’s absolutely free – our pre-addressed, insured Goldwise Pack won’t cost you anything; and even if you are not happy with the offer, we will post back your unwanted gold free of charge.
No, the condition of your gold, silver or platinum jewellery does not matter – it can be broken, twisted or damaged, and you don’t even need to clean it before sending it to us.
We buy gold jewellery, any carat gold, yellow gold, white gold, rose gold, wedding bands, engagement rings, chains, pendants, bracelets, earrings, broken jewellery, gold coins, damaged pieces and scrap gold jewellery – anything and everything GOLD! If your item or items are not listed here, give us a call and we will advise whether we can purchase it.
Please note that we don’t buy gold plated and gold electroplated items, costume jewellery, rolled gold, stolen items and non-precious metals.
Unfortunately, we are not able to purchase them – please do not include the stones as they will not be valued or returned. Get a professional jeweller to remove them before sending the gold to us. We can still purchase item(s) with stones but we will deduct the weight of the stone(s) from the total weight.
All amounts are accepted – there is not minimum or maximum. If you have a big amount of gold you would like to sell, either contact us prior to that so we can arrange a bigger Goldwise Pack, or you can visit us at our office.
You don’t need to – our professionally trained experts will weigh your gold after the Goldwise Pack has been received.
You can track your parcel using the tracking number provided in your free pack – simply click on the link up the top of this page. The contents of the parcel are also insured by Courier post for the value of up to $1500.00.
Your Goldwise Pack will include a unique tracking number that you can use to find out the status of your shipment. Just log into NZ Post website and enter the code to track your parcel.
The value of your gold will be assessed based on the weight, karat content (a percentage of 24 karat) and the market price on the day. So sell any old jewellery or scrap gold that is worthless to you even if it’s unwearable or simply lying around collecting dust.
We won’t be able to give you an exact quote for your items before we see them – we will need to determine the karat content and weigh your gold before we can calculate the exact amount of cash for gold we would be able to pay. However, if you are wanting to find an estimate price, you can do it here.
We will email a valuation certificate – it is time-sensitive, which means you will need to accept or decline the offer within the given time frame – if we don’t hear from you before that, we will consider the offer accepted and transfer the money into your bank account overnight on that day.
If you’re unsure of the nature of your jewellery, feel free to post it to us for testing. However, if you know for sure that something is of no value, please do not send it through.
There is absolutely no obligation to sell – if you decline the offer, we will post the gold back to you free of charge.
If you accept our offer, we will transfer the money overnight.
